Ron Katzenelson


Since 1984 Ron has been working as director of photography in documentary and feature films in Israel and Europe

In 1991 won the "The Golden Lens Award" for filming the movie Yizkor: Slaves of Memory (FR3 France / ZDF Germany).

In 1992 won the "The Golden Lens Award" for filming the movie The French Initiative, which he also directed for Channel 2 in Israel, and in 1994, once again won "The Golden Lens Award" for filming Under the Bridge for "Uvda", an investigative program for channel 2 Israel.

In 2000 Ron won Best Cinematography Award in "Docaviv, The Tel-Aviv International Documentary Film Festival" for the movie Three Sisters (ZDF/ IBA Israel)

In 2010 won Best Cinematography Award for the movie Black Bus (HOT 8 Israel)

His documentary films and series are broadcast on television channels in Israel and around the world, and have earned prizes in many festivals

Ron Katzenelson currently lectures television and film photography at Tel Aviv University and

Sapir college in Sderot

He is a longstanding member of "ACT", Israel Association of Cinema & Television Professionals
